This company is a legit scam

This company is a legit scam. How is it running inside of the United States with such garbage ethics?

1. You cannot cancel the subscription AT ALL. You go to manage your sub, and you can only change frequency or pause it.
2. They tell you to contact support in order to cancel your subscription. Well the link the support gives you, goes directly to the place you can already get to! So that means you can only pause it or change the frequency and not CANCEL it.
3. No phone number to contact? What kind of garbage is that?
4. The support is automatic messages.

This company is an absolute dumpster fire. Let's not even talk about how their subscription prices have jumped up insane numbers, which is quite strange because making the perfume is insanely cheap.

The "Flipped House" of subscription boxes.

I want so badly to be in love with this company, but there are some glaring problems that need to be handled.
1: the processing time. I am billed on the first, they are supposed to process & ship in 5 business days, but that never happens. It is usually 10 business days & the earliest I receive my order is the 19th. I have had many different subscription boxes from many different companies of all sizes, & even other countries. Scentbird takes the longest. that would be fine if it wasn't for #2.
2: there is no way to check in on your current order while it is processing. It kind of disappears from the site & app. You have to hunt to even see what is in the order. & even that isn't accurate. which leads me to #3 or kind of #2.5
3: If you have purchased an add on fragrance, there is no mention of it anywhere until it shows up at your door. I sometimes have to dig through my emails just to be sure I did in fact order it, by the time it is shipped the following month.
4: the packaging looks like it is coming from Wish. Your order comes in a grey bubble mailer via DHL. You could at least have an artist do like a seasonal design on your bubble mailers if you can't switch materials. As it is Scentbird has the worst packaging of any subscription box of a similar price point.

If these things were fixed, & the selection of products increased, Scentbird would be a 5 star company. They have great indie brands that I would have never fallen in love with if not for them. I love exploring the notes, perfecting my queue by season, switching up my scent daily & throwing it in my bag. Scentbird in theory is amazing, but currently they are more comparable to a house that has been flipped. It looks great, & the first month or so you are there you love it, but after that all you can see are the cracks in the foundation & the windows painted shut; the shortcuts for profits sake.

Sent bird are scammers they sold me scents that are nothing but alcohol they will not get anymore money and I'm reporting them as well

I love scentbird..

I love scentbird... At first I was skeptical about trying it but I'm glad I did they send samples to you so you know what your buying or if you like it ..

Good concept , but pricey

Good concept , but not very transparent with the charges / conversion rates for Canadian customers.. ends up being too expensive subscription. Hideous process to cancel .. please simplify it

Terrible service

Pretty much everything is already said about this site - expensive, slow, they cancel scents whenever they want even if you added them to your schedule. And now I can't even login to my account because it says it sent me some login link and no any links coming not in email nor in spam. Un-subscription process is nonsense. I didn't find any support at the site - "contact us" link redirects to some robot chat. Stay away with no doubts from this place - absolutely not recommended!

Frustrating to cancel

Sent them an email in May that I wanted to cancel. Finally in June with a few email exchanges, they confirmed my cancellation.
In August I get charged, and they renew my subscription. On their site you cannot cancel directly it advises you to contact customer service. Customer service emails you back no problem just go on your account and cancel your subscription. It's a never-ending cat and mouse game they play. STAY AWAY

Charged $200 out of no where

I was charged $200 out of no where and there is no way to reach anyone live. You can only send emails and send messages. The $200 sent my account into overdrawn with four $35 fees. They didnt address these. Then they unsubscribed me to my account and told me to pay to get re-subscribed when they created this mess. Very Disappointed.

8.4.22 Adding to my review since they want to reply and make it seem like all is good. Well yes I got the $200 after 5 days, and meantime was overdrawn in my account, $140 dollars (overdraft fees) on top of the missing $200 for those 5 days then they want to ask me to resubscribe to them and pay to do that? Laughable. No thank you. Moving on.

Would not recommend

VERY difficult to cancel. Email, wait for reply, (3 weeks in my case, day after next billing, lol).
I just had to dispute 2 random $216.00 charges from Scentbird on my card, 3 months after I canceled. My bank did some investigating, they had been double charging every month the entire year. We combed through and found a bunch of small charges that were overlooked. Turns out, many people have had these same issues. Scammy company. I will change my debit card # if they continue. Shame on you, Scentbird.

The worst customer service

I never got my package. I let customer service know that although the tracking said it was delivered, I received nothing. They replied with, " I see it was delivered, check your mailbox" bro of I didn't check I would not have emailed. Then they said wait a couple days. Its been a full 7 and no package. Sent another email 4 days ago, to no response. Then again 2 days ago still no response.

Always get Compliments from family, friends and co- workers on my Scents and when I tell them what I'm wearing they think it's so expensive and I'm always sure to tell them about SCENTBIRD

I am frequently asked what perfume I am wearing. It's nice to change things up. My husband has liked all but one of the scents I've received. I LOVE getting a different scents every month. Perfumes smell very different on different people so it's interesting to smell the difference between a perfume on myself versus that same perfume on my daughter but I absolutely love this entire concept and the business is top-notch as it pertains to the customer service and the expedited shipping to ensure that the product arrives when it is supposed to.

I don't know if there are ones that are cheaper or better... i know others exist but I was satisfied with my choice of scentbird so I haven't researched
